About Sonny: Dr. Sonny is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon, and Chinese Cosmology consultant in the greater Portland area. He specializes in BaZi, Yi Jing, and Classical Feng Shui. He received his Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
“Eastern Culture, especially the Chinese flavor, has been influencing my life since the early 80s. My family traveled from Southern China, to Southeast Asia, and finally the Pacific Northwest United States, all within a couple generations. I grew up multilingual and enjoyed a very myriad blending of various world views, both from the “Far East” and “Western” societies.
I believe that movement is key to living a long and fulfilling life. I am an avid tennis enjoyer, travel as often as life allows, and support any and all styles of dance. We should all be walking more.
Recreationally, I enjoy Traditional Chinese Archery, West Coast Swing and Latin dancing, standup paddleboarding, and eating the most delicious meals.”
